Arecont are a leading California-based manufacturer of high quality HD security cameras and security monitoring software. This model, the Arecont AV3155DN, is a weatherproof fixed dome IP camera with a vandal resistant case delivering a 3.1 megapixel resolution at a maximum image size of 2048x1536 pixels.

With support for H.264 video compression the camera is equipped with the latest in low bit rate video streaming. Using H.264 provides significant savings in terms of bandwidth and storage requirements. Also with day/night switching the camera is capable of delivering usable surveillance images in all lighting conditions.

Easy to install, this fixed dome IP camera supports Power over Ethernet which enables the camera to receive its power from the same Ethernet cable which supplies the data connection. This makes installation quick, easy and cost-effective.
