The Mobotix Q24M-SEC-D11 is a unique IP security camera in that it offers full 360° monitoring and recording. The camera features a 360° fish-eye lens capturing events from all around and, combined with a 3 megapixel sensor and digital pan, tilt and zoom, captures extremely detailed images. The camera also uses perspective correction software to eliminate the rounding normally associated with fish-eye lenses. The tough outer casing of the Q24M-SEC-D11 is IP65 rated meaning it can be installed internally or externally without any additional housing.

Mobotix cameras in general offer an extensive event management and recording facility allowing you to accurately customize the alarms to your needs. These include motion detection, signal inputs and noise detection and can notify you by e-mail, text message, audio notification from the camera or even by phone using VoIP. Recordings can be made to local network attached storage or to an on-board 4GB MicroSD card. This can be upgraded later to a maximum of 32GB providing a standalone recording system.

The Q24M-SEC-D11 supports two-way audio using built-in speaker and microphone. This allows you to communicate with people at the camera location or to record the audio along with video footage.
