Axis 233D - 0266-001 - Overview

The Axis 233D camera is a professional-level IP dome camera with high-precision pan/tilt operation, continuous 360° rotation, automatic day/night switching and 35x optical zoom.

The Axis 233D combines a large 35x optical zoom with a high-precision low speed pan/tilt mechanism giving the ability to track moving targets with great accuracy. E-flip technology electronically inverts the image when following a moving object directly under the dome and with an endless 360° pan operation a moving target is easy to track. With automatic day/night switching the Axis 233D+ dome camera provides rich color images during the day and automatic switches to an infrared black and white mode at night. Progressive-scan images are delivered up to a maximum resolution of 704x480 pixels and at a speed of up to 30 frames per second while Wide Dynamic Range (WDR) offers high quality images in high contrast environments. A built-in electronic image stabilizer reduces the effect from wind or vibrations caused by traffic further improving image quality and with auto tracking capabilities the camera will follow a moving target automatically, always keeping the subject matter in view. Powerful alarm management features allow you to transfer images by HTTP, email or FTP based on user-defined events such as video motion detection, audio detection, external sensor or according to timed schedule. The Axis 233D is high-speed dome camera, suitable for a wide range of professional security surveillance and monitoring applications and comes with a free 1 channel recording software application, video management software and 3-year manufacturers’ limited hardware warranty.
