Axis 241S - Overview
The Axis 241S 1-Port video server with support for built-in motion detection and support for pan-tilt-zoom compatible cameras.
Using the Axis 241S video server allows remote digital distribution of an analog based video stream across IP-based digital networks such as a Local Area Network (LAN) or across the Internet. A live stream can be taken from a traditional analog CCTV camera and transmitted up to a maximum resolution of 704x480 at a frame rate of up to 30fps. Advanced features include support for traditional analog cameras with pan-tilt-zoom operation and comprehensive alarm management tools allowing images to be transferred or alarms to sound when pre-configured events are triggered by activity such as motion detection or simply based on a timed schedule. Easy to install, configure and maintain, the Axis 241S 1-port video server is an economical solution for digital distribution of your live streaming images over IP-based networks.
