Axis 241Q - Overview
The Axis 241Q is a 4-port video server with built-in motion detection and support for compatible pan-tilt-zoom cameras.
This 4-port video server can connect up to four analog cameras and convert the live feeds into high-quality digital video which can be transmitted over IP-based networks such as a Local Area Network (LAN) or across the Internet. Images are delivered at a maximum resolution of 704x480 pixels at a frame-rate of up to 30fps (4CIF, MJPEG, 1 channel).
Advanced features include PTZ support for compatible cameras and powerful alarm management tools which allow images to be transferred or alarms to sound when pre-configured events are triggered by activity such as motion detection or simply based on a timed schedule. Easy to install, configure and maintain, the Axis 241Q 4-port video server is an economical solution for digital distribution of your live streaming images over IP-based networks.
Axis 241Q - Key Benefits
- Takes video feeds from up to four traditional CCTV cameras and migrates them to high-quality digital video streams which can be delivered over IP-based networks such as the Internet for remote viewing
Axis 241Q - Typical Applications
Ideal for converting an existing analog CCTV camera system into a digital IP surveillance system for remote monitoring of offices, shops, banks, railroad stations, airports, parking lots, manufacturing lines etc.
