Axis 240Q - Overview
The Axis 240Q is a 4-port video server with built-in motion detection and support for compatible PTZ cameras.
Taking the analog feeds from up to four traditional CCTV cameras, the Axis 240Q will convert them to high-quality digital video streams which can be distributed over any IP-based network such as a Local Area Network (LAN) or across the Internet for remote viewing. Images are delivered from up to four analog video sources at a maximum resolution of 704x480 pixels and a frame-rate of up to 5-6 fps per channel. Advanced features include support for pan-tilt-zoom compatible analog cameras and powerful alarm management tools with motion detection and external input and output connections allowing sensors and relays to be connected which can monitor door bells, activate lights or open/close doors based on camera activity. Notifications can also be sent by email, FTP with images attached. Easy to use, configure and manage the Axis 240Q provides a cost effective solution for converting up to four analog video streams into digital based network video.
