The Axis M1031-W is a mini wireless IP security camera. It comes with a built-in light for 24-hour surveillance, a PIR sensor for heat detection in low light and a microphone and speaker for 2-way audio communication.

The Axis M1031-W also features H.264 compression which enables live streaming video at significantly reduced bit-rates. This results in less traffic over the network and lower storage requirements for recording.

The camera’s built-in light can work with the PIR sensor to automatically illuminate the scene when movement is detected and the built-in microphone and speaker not only allow you to hear sounds from the camera’s location but also issue instructions or warn off intruders near the camera. Compact and easy to install, the Axis 1031-W is feature packed and suitable for home or small office security. Like all IP cameras offered by Network Webcams, the Axis M1031-W Wireless IP security camera has a built-in web server and can be viewed over a Local Area Network (LAN), Wide Area Network (WAN) or via the Internet as a streaming IP webcam.
