Sony SNT-V704 - Overview

The Sony SNT-V704 is a 4-port video server with bi-directional audio communication, comprehensive alarm functions, digital image cropping and dynamic privacy masking features.

A compact design, the Sony SNT-V704 can take up to four video feeds from traditional analog CCTV cameras and allow users to remote monitor and control them over a TCP/IP based network such as a Local Area Network (LAN) or the Internet. Images are produced at a maximum resolution of 720x480 pixels at up to 30 frames per second (x4ch 640x480). Bi-directional audio support provides 2-way communication, allowing users to not only see but also hear and issue instructions to people near the camera’s location. Advanced features include digital image cropping, dynamic privacy masking, up to 5 scanning tours with up to 16 positions in each scan and a powerful alarm function which can alert users based on triggered activity such as motion detection of external sensor inputs. Compact and lightweight, the Sony SNT-V704 is easy to install, even in small places, and is easy to setup, manage and maintain, providing the ideal solution when converting an existing analog CCTV security system to high-quality digital IP video, deliverable remotely over TCP/IP networks.
