Axis Camera Station V3.10 4ch Base Pack - Overview

Axis Camera Station is a comprehensive video monitoring, recording and playback application designed to work with up to 50 Axis network video products to provide a robust security monitoring and surveillance platform.

The latest version of Axis Camera Station offers simultaneous live video monitoring and recording for up to 50 simultaneous cameras using the new dual-monitor support. With support for the latest H.264 video compression technology as well as continued support for JPEG and MPEG-4 Axis Camera Station provides the tools for bandwidth efficiency allowing bit-rates to be reduced without compromising on image quality. Recordings can be set based on a pre-determined schedule, on event using the new Event Configuration Wizard or simply set to start manually. Recordings can now be stored to network attached storage (NAS) drives as well as local drives giving almost unlimited storage capacity. Playback of archived recordings can be controlled by the new timeline visualization tool which gives an easy overview of recorded events. They can also be searched based on camera or by date/time and playback of up to 4 simultaneous synchronized sources can be controlled by speed or even displayed frame-by-frame. Sensitive data can be exported as a series of JPEG images or as an ASF video file which can be played back using Windows Media Player. Axis Camera Station also offers support for cameras with pan-tilt-zoom control using a mouse or joystick input. Digital pan-tilt-zoom cameras can also be controlled using the live view or during playback. Using the supplied Windows-based client gives you local or remote viewing, playback and administration providing the freedom to access your security application from almost anywhere. This product contains a 4-channel base pack allowing the connection of up to 4 Axis video products. Axis Camera Station provides for future upgrades with easy addition of licenses in packs of 1, 5 or 20 up to a maximum of 50 IP video products.
