Panasonic WV-NP1004 - Overview

The Panasonic i-Pro WV-NP1004 IP camera is a 1.25 megapixel static network camera with 1-way audio listen-in and automatic day/night switching.

Suitable for professional level security surveillance and monitoring applications, the Panasonic WV-NP1004 delivers high quality results using progressive-scan and image stabilizing technologies. Images are displayed at a maximum megapixel resolution of 1280x960 pixels at a frame rate of up to 25fps (640x480 partial scan). Automatic day/night switching ensures the camera captures rich color images during the day and at night automatically switches to an infrared sensitive black and white mode providing images in lighting as low as 0.06 lux. With additional infrared illumination the Panasonic WV-NP1000 will provide useful images in complete darkness. Using the camera’s built-in microphone allows you to listen-in on sounds at the camera’s location using a Windows-based PC equipped with speakers. Advanced features include privacy masking, comprehensive image adjustment and alarm management tools. Alarms can be set in the camera to transfer images when an event takes place such as motion detection or external sensor input. Like all IP cameras offered on www.networkwebcams.com, the Panasonic WV-NP1004 has a built-in web server and can be viewed over a Local Area Network (LAN), Wide Area Network (WAN) or via the Internet as a streaming IP webcam.
