Panasonic BB-HCM581A - Overview

The Panasonic BB-HCM581A IP camera is a controllable pan-tilt-zoom network camera with 21x optical zoom, Power over Ethernet connectivity and 2-way audio support.

With Power over Ethernet connectivity the BB-HCM581A can be installed with a single cable as power is supplied using the same standard Ethernet cable as the data carrier. With a full 350° pan range the camera offers coverage of a much larger area than a traditional static camera. The Panasonic BB-HCM581A delivers streaming color video at a maximum resolution of 640x480 pixels and at a frame-rate of up to 30fps. In Color-Night-View-Mode the camera will automatically adjust the shutter speed to accommodate the falling light levels to ensure useful color images are delivered in as little light as 0.09 lux. Two-way audio communication lets you set up remote communication with people near the camera using a PC equipped with microphone and speaker with external speakers attached to the camera (not supplied). A powerful alarm management system allows flexible alarm events to be set including the transfer of images from the camera by email or FTP based on triggers such as motion detection, external alarm sensor or simply based on a timed schedule. Easy to install, set up and manage the Panasonic BB-HCM581A comes with all the software required to provide the ideal home or small-medium sized business security surveillance solution. Like all IP cameras offered on www.networkwebcams.com, the Panasonic BB-HCM581A has a built-in web server and can be viewed over a Local Area Network (LAN), Wide Area Network (WAN) or via the Internet as a streaming IP webcam.
