Axis 211W - 0270-004 - Overview

The Axis 211W IP camera is a high quality wireless network camera delivering progressive scan VGA images at 30 frames per second with 2-way audio and Power over Ethernet support.

Now with wireless support, the Axis 211W IP network camera delivers the same high quality from the Axis 211 range but adds true wireless connectivity for both indoor and outdoor installations. With a built-in web server the camera is a stand-alone network device that can stream live video remotely over a Local Area Network (LAN) or across the Internet. Progressive scan technology ensures that the Axis 211W delivers high-quality images at a maximum resolution of 640x480 pixels (VGA) and at frame rates of up to 30fps. 2-way audio communication allows you to listen-in on synchronous audio with any computer equipped with speakers and also allow you to talk back through the camera using a computer equipped with a microphone and additional speakers attached to the camera (not supplied). Powerful alarm management tools allow you to set up camera events, a benefit of digital IP camera technology. Events can be set up to transfer images by email, FTP/HTTP or email text-based notifications when the camera detects movement or sound, responds to an external sensor input such as a doorbell, or simply be set to a timed schedule. Easy to install, set up and manage, the Axis 211W wireless network camera is ideal for professional video surveillance applications and its wireless connectivity makes it the perfect choice for installations where power but no network connection is available.
