IQeye 803 - Overview

The IQ803 Sentinel IP camera is a 3.1 megapixel IP66-rated outdoor network camera system with Power over Ethernet connectivity and digital pan-tilt-zoom operation.

Like every camera in the IQeye Sentinel Series the IQeye 803 comes as a complete housing system which can withstand extreme temperature and weather conditions. The whole unit including the camera and housing is IEEE802.3af Power over Ethernet compliant and can be powered using the same Ethernet cable that the data is supplied through. The camera’s resolution on demand delivers high quality, low bandwidth video across the network which simultaneously recording crisp megapixel images. With a 3.1 megapixel imaging sensor the camera will deliver images at a resolution of 2048x1536 and at a frame rate of 12fps (4:3 aspect). Digital pan-tilt-zoom operation means no moving parts so there is no way to tell where the camera is pointing and no wear and tear on the camera.

Advanced features include multi-window exposure settings, privacy masking, digital image cropping and alarm management tools. Using alarm events, images can be transferred from the camera and sent to an email address or FTP. Optional recording software (IQ recorder) can be added to the cameras software which provides the tools to store and archive recordings as well as search and playback facilities. Like all IP cameras offered on www.networkwebcams.com, the IQeye 803 has a built-in web server and can be viewed over a Local Area Network (LAN), Wide Area Network (WAN) or via the Internet as a streaming IP webcam.
