IQeye 805 - Overview

The IQ805 Sentinel IP camera is a 5.0 megapixel IP66-rated outdoor network camera system with Power over Ethernet connectivity and digital pan-tilt-zoom operation.

The IQeye Sentinel Series comprises of a digital IP camera combined with an IP66-rated housing which is resistant to extreme temperatures, weather, tampering and impacts. Being fully IEEE803.3af Power over Ethernet compliant the IQ805 can be entirely powered using the same cable that provides the data. This makes installation very simple and cost effective. Designed to produce low-bandwidth video for remote viewing while simultaneously delivering high quality 5.0 megapixel images at 2560x2910 pixels for recording the IQeye 805 is a professional security IP camera suitable for a wide range of applications. Included in all IQeye cameras is digital pan-tilt-zoom operation which allows you to zoom in and manipulate the live images while the entire scene is still being recorded and no moving parts means less wear and tear on the camera. Advanced features include multi-window exposure settings, user defined image adjustment, digital image cropping, privacy masking and alarm management tools. Using alarm events allows you to set triggers such as motion detection or external sensor to transfer images by email or to an FTP server. Optional recording suite (IQrecorder) can be added to the camera which adds archiving and playback with full search facilities. This software becomes part of the camera’s internal software giving an all-in-one monitoring and recording solution from a single camera without the need for a PC. Like all IP cameras offered on www.networkwebcams.com, the IQeye 805 has a built-in web server and can be viewed over a Local Area Network (LAN), Wide Area Network (WAN) or via the Internet as a streaming IP webcam.
