IQeye 853 - Overview

The IQeye 853 Sentinel Series IP camera is a combined IP66-rated, 3.1 megapixel network camera and housing system, suitable for indoor and outdoor use with automatic day/night switching and Power over Ethernet connectivity.

The IQeye Sentinel Series combines a professional IP camera with an all-weather housing which is resistant to extreme temperatures, vandalism and tampering. The complete system is IEEE 802.3af Power over Ethernet compliant which means power and data can be shared in the same standard Ethernet cable making installation simple and cost effective. Automatic day/night switching allows the IQeye 853 to produce vibrant color images during the day while automatically switching to infrared sensitive black and white images at night. With the addition of infrared illumination (not supplied) the camera will deliver detailed images in complete darkness. The camera’s 3.1 megapixel resolution results in large, detailed images at 2048x1536 pixels and delivered at up to 12 frames per second (4:3 aspect). Advanced features include multi-window exposure settings, privacy masking, digital image cropping and alarm management tools. Using alarm events, images can be transferred from the camera and sent by email or FTP. Optional recording software (IQ recorder) can be added to the cameras software which provides the tools to store and archive recordings as well as search and playback facilities. Like all IP cameras offered on www.networkwebcams.com, the IQeye 853 has a built-in web server and can be viewed over a Local Area Network (LAN), Wide Area Network (WAN) or via the Internet as a streaming IP webcam.
