IQeye 755 - Overview

The IQeye 755 network camera is a 5.0 megapixel IP camera with automatic day/night switching, Power over Ethernet (IEEE802.3af PoE) support and digital pan-tilt-zoom operation

The combination of low-bandwidth video for remote monitoring and high quality 5.0 megapixel images for recording make the IQeye 755 suitable for a wide range of high-end security surveillance and monitoring applications in any lighting conditions. With its large 5.0 megapixel resolution the camera produces live streaming video at 2560x1920 pixels, delivered at up to10 frames per second (4:3 aspect) in lighting conditions as low as 0.3 in color. Automatic day/night switching allows the camera to display color images in periods of full and low-light while automatically switching to an infrared black and white mode when the light level drops. With optional infrared illumination (not supplied) the camera can produce detailed images in complete darkness. Advanced features include digital image cropping, user-configurable image and exposure settings, digital pan-tilt-zoom operation, privacy masking and alarm management functions. Using alarm management you can configure the camera to transfer images by email, FTP or store internally to memory card when events have been triggered such as motion detection, external sensor input such as a doorbell etc. or simply on a timed schedule. An optional recording suite (IQrecorder) can be added to the camera to add recording to FTP server, archiving and playback with search facilities. This software becomes part of the camera’s internal software giving an all-in-one monitoring and recording solution from a single camera without the need for a PC. Like all IP cameras offered on www.networkwebcams.com, the IQeye 755 has a built-in web server and can be viewed over a Local Area Network (LAN), Wide Area Network (WAN) or via the Internet as a streaming IP webcam.
