Sony SNC-RZ30N - Overview

The Sony SNC-RZ30N network camera is a controllable pan-tilt-zoom IP camera with automatic day/night switching and image stabilizing function.

Combining IP-based network functionality with pan-tilt-zoom operation the Sony SNC-RZ30N offers the next step in remote monitoring by offering the flexibility to see everything within the cameras range from anywhere in the world. Featuring a powerful 25x zoom and high resolution CCD imaging sensor, the camera delivers high quality images at a maximum resolution of 736x544 pixels at 25 frames per second (at 640x480). With automatic day/night switching the SNC-RZ30N will deliver full color images during the day and in period of light at low at 3 lux (at F1.6) As the scene darkens the camera automatically switches to infrared sensitive black and white video requiring a minimum illumination of less than 0.01 lux. Advanced features include 2 expansion slots for PCMCIA cardswhich will allow you to extend the storage capacity of the camera or add wireless connectivity using an optional wireless PCMCIA card. Analog composite output allows the camera to be attached to a local recording device or monitor. Powerful alarm management tools allow events to be configured in the camera which will transfer images by email or FTP when alarms are triggered such as motion detection or external sensor input. Like all cameras offered on www.networkwebcams.com, the Sony SNC-RZ30N has a built-in web server and can be viewed over a Local Area Network (LAN), Wide Area Network (WAN) or via the Internet as a streaming IP webcam.
