Panasonic WJ-ND300A 500GB - Overview

The Panasonic i-Pro WJ-ND300A is a professional network disk recorder suitable for installation on any existing IP-based CCTV security system or for new installations.

Suitable for up to 32 simultaneous Panasonic IP cameras, the WJ-ND300A offers support for live view monitoring, recording, and playback all from an easy to use interface from any attached PC on the network. This unit is supplied with 1x 500GB drive for storage of digital images but can be expanded up to a maximum of 14TB using HDD extensions (not supplied). This provides massive storage potential ideal for any application. The WJ-ND300A supports JPEG, MJPEG and MPEG-4 video modes at up to 1280x960 at 30 frames per second (camera dependent). The unit features versatile recording features such as scheduled recording, manual recording, event based recording (pre-/post alarm buffer), emergency recording triggered by an external button and external timer. Security comprised of multi-level user authentication by username and password (up to 32 users), host authentication by IP address and alteration detection to ensure downloaded data is authentic. The unit will also take advantage of any Panasonic i-Pro camera’s SD memory card support, by using the storage in the event network failure. Any data stored on the SD cards can be set to copy back automatically to the WJ-ND300A when the network connection is re-established. Quick to install and manage, the WJ-ND300A is designed for medium-large sized businesses and organizations providing high-quality digital video monitoring, recording and playback with expandable storage capabilities and data security.

This unit comes supplied with 1x 500GB hard disk drive unit for storage. Optional disks and extension units can be purchased separately.
