The Sony SNC-RX530N network camera is a controllable pan-tilt-zoom (PTZ) dome camera with 360 degree endless rotation, image stabilizer, automatic day/night switching, 2-way audio and intelligent video analytics based on Sony’s DEPA technology platform.

The most affordable of Sony’s high-end SNC-RX series, the SNC-RX530N is a feature-rich professional IP security camera for medium-large sized businesses and organizations. Images are delivered at a maximum resolution of 640x480 (VGA) at up to 30 frames per second and with a combination of automatic day/night switching and Exwave HAD CCD the SNC-RX530N offers high sensitivity (min illumination 0.15 lux) and excellent visibility in poor and varying light conditions. Featuring an 18x optical zoom allows the camera to zoom in on distant objects. Combined with a 12x digital zoom the camera delivers a maximum zoom of 216x.

Utilizing Sony’s intelligent video analytics DEPA technology platform, this dome IP camera offers intelligent functions such as intelligent video detection which vastly reduces false alarms by analyzing activity based on a larger number of frames than conventional motion detection routines, and intelligent object detection which can identify new objects added to a scene or objects which have been removed from a scene and alert the user accordingly.

Advanced features include image stabilization which reduces the effect of high winds or vibrations caused from traffic to provide clear images, anti-tampering measures ensure that images from a specific camera are authentic, 2-way audio allowing you to communication with people near the camera from a remote location and image transfer by email or FTP based on events such as activity/object detection or external sensor inputs.
