The Axis P3301 IP camera is a fixed dome network camera capable of multiple, simultaneous H.264 and MJPEG video streaming, two-way audio support and Power over Ethernet connectivity.

Compact and unobtrusive, the Axis P3301 IP camera is a fixed dome network camera perfect for indoor installations in exposed environments where discreet monitoring is required. To help reduce bandwidth without compromising on image quality the P3301 supports H.264 video streaming. H.264 is a video format which offers greater compression, and therefore uses less bandwidth, than MPEG-4 video but still retains the high image quality you would expect from an Axis product. Up to 3 simultaneous streams can be delivered in H.264 or traditional MJPEG formats, either at full frame rate or individually optimized for different quality needs and bandwidth constraints. High quality images are delivered using a 1/4 inch, progressive scan RGB CMOS sensor at a maximum resolution of 640x480 (VGA) pixels at frames rates of up to 30 frames per second. Usable images can be captured in light conditions as low as 1 lux meaning the camera can work in low-light giving better all-round surveillance and with wide dynamic range the camera can capture images in high contrast environments. Support for two-way audio allows viewers of the camera to listen-in on sounds at the cameras location, or with connected speakers (not included), communicate with people near the camera from a remote location. This is ideal for warning intruders or adjusting store displays etc. Easy to install, the Axis P3301 supports IEEE802.3af Power over Ethernet meaning that the power can be run in the same cable as the data, providing a quick, easy and cost effective installation. Advanced features include image privacy masking, text and image overlay, password protection, IP address filtering, and powerful event management tools which allow images to be transferred by email or FTP based on alarm triggers such as motion/audio detection, external sensor or based on a schedule. The P3301 also features enhanced video motion detection which reduces the amount of false alarms generated by the camera and an active anti-tampering alarm which will alert the user if the camera has been blocked, covered, moved or sprayed with paint.
