Panasonic BL-C230 - Overview:

The Panasonic BL-C230 is a wireless indoor pan/tilt camera aimed at entry-level applications. Wireless connectivity is also featured on the camera which removes the need for lengthy network cabling. Additionally, a passive infrared sensor is built-in to alert you to movement of heat sources such as people in view.

The BL-C230 also features one-way audio listen-in using the built-in microphone and playback of pre-recorded audio clips using the built-in speaker. The camera also offers audio-based event triggering which can transfer images to a remote server via FTP or email. Additionally, you can monitor the camera and control the viewing angle directly from a Panasonic Viera television.

H.264 video compression is also available on the BL-C230 which reduces network bandwidth and storage requirements without adversely affecting video quality. Like all IP cameras offered by www.networkwebcams.com, the Panasonic BL-C230 has a built-in web server and can be viewed over a Local Area Network (LAN), Wide Area Network (WAN) or via the Internet as a streaming IP webcam.
