Sony IPELA SNC-CS20 - Overview:

The Sony SNC-CS20 is a static IP camera which has been designed to directly replace older analog security equipment. The camera is compact to fit into traditional external housings and offers two-way audio for interactive communication with people in view. The camera can also capture color footage during the day and monochrome video at night (infrared lighting required for night viewing).

Intelligent Motion Detection (IMD) is available on the SNC-CS20 which allows the camera to track objects rather than motion, ignoring random signal noise to reduce false alarms. The camera is also DEPA compatible, allowing it to minimize the impact on a security network when sending video footage to Sony DEPA enabled network video recorders.

Power over Ethernet is also available on the Sony SNC-CS20 which helps to reduce cabling required by combining data and power. Like all IP cameras offered by www.networkwebcams.com, the Sony IPELA SNC-CS20 has a built-in web server and can be viewed over a Local Area Network (LAN), Wide Area Network (WAN) or via the Internet as a streaming IP webcam.
