Overview of Y-cam Knight S

Providing 24 hour surveillance, the Y-cam Knight S provides a compact monitoring solution for homes, offices and shops. Footage is available in locations with no external light source using the camera's 30 infrared LEDs, giving discreet illumination of objects up to a distance of 30ft. Additionally, Wi-Fi connectivity allows the camera to integrate with the network without any network cabling, providing flexibility when mounting.

Recording software is built into the camera, allowing it to store video and images directly to networked storage drives without the need for a recording PC. Alternatively, the camera also comes bundled with Y-cam Multi-live surveillance software which can record from up to 36 Y-cam cameras simultaneously at no extra cost. The camera is also full Mac compatible, providing live viewing as well as surveillance and setup software, so that there is no need to change computer hardware in order to monitor the camera.

1-Way audio allows users to hear events from around the camera, and using the integrated microphone requires no additional audio equipment for use. Viewers can also monitor live video through the cell phone using the 3GPP cell phone viewer, providing bandwidth-efficient video for users away from a computer.
