Overview of Sony SNC-CH140

The Sony IPELA SNC-CH140 is a high definition HD720p fixed IP camera which offers images in resolutions up to 1280x1024. The camera offers high-quality color footage in daylight and infrared-sensitive monochrome images in low-light conditions and can record footage to a Compact Flash card without any additional software (card not included). H.264 video compression also reduces storage and bandwidth requirements without reducing quality.

Two-way audio is supported which allows you to interactively communicate with people in view or be alerted by on-site alarms and sirens. Sony DEPA advanced video analytics are also featured including intelligent motion detection, tamper alarm and audio detection.

The SNC-CH140 can also connect wirelessly to your network when used with the Sony SNCA-CFW5 Compact Flash wireless card. Power over Ethernet support makes the SNC-CH140 quicker to install as only a single cable needs to be installed which contains both power and data.

This camera does not come with a power supply. Should you require a Power over Ethernet midspan please select one from the options above.
