Overview of Sony SNC-CH260

Ideal for outdoor environments with little or no external lighting, the Sony SNC-CH260 is a compact outdoor camera with advanced low-light features. The cameras IP66-rated casing allows it to be installed outdoors without an additional housing, while the integrated infrared(IR) LED lights and day/night filter provide true night vision, capturing events in complete darkness.

Video recording is highly optimized, with DEPA video analytics which intelligently reduces recorded footage by lowering false alarms and H.264 video compression which reduces the size of recorded video by up to 80% compared with MJPEG. The camera also features an integrated wall/ceiling mount stand, so no other equipment is required for mounting.

The camera can also be installed quickly, with Easy Focus and Easy Zoom features which allow installers to set the viewing angle and focus without direct access to the camera. Power over Ethernet support also means that no separate power cable needs to be installed, with data and power supplied through the network connection.
